Wow, that's a really interesting take! I hadn't considered private ferries or routes to smaller islands – that totally makes sense. The sheer amount of change in Hung Hom over the years is mind-boggling. Gazetteers and shipping manifests... hadn't even thought of those. Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely look into that.
