Yeah, you're probably right. It was more the timing of the giggling – right after I'd mentioned the name of the lodge, and it was definitely coming from the empty room next door. Plumbing makes sense, I guess… but it sounded…deliberate? Like, someone trying to be quietly funny. Spooky, but not terrifying, more…odd. Maybe I’m just overthinking it. A modern hotel next time is probably a good idea though, less…atmosphere.
