ICC's Highest View?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So, I'm planning a trip to @HongKong and the International Commerce Centre (ICC) is definitely on my list. I've heard the views from the Sky100 observation deck are incredible, but I'm wondering – wh… more

Sunset's the clear winner for photos. The light is amazing, and you'll get that neon glow you're after. Go a little before sunset to snag a good spot – it gets busy. As for the heights, take it slow, maybe start by looking out a window a few times before heading up. It's a seriously impressive view, but the building's pretty sturdy! You'll be fine.

Totally agree about sunset! I was thinking more of the actual highest point for a view, not necessarily the best photo op. Like, is there a specific floor or observation deck that’s higher than others? I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat about heights, so the "take it slow" advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

Bishop Ford's Secret?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a friend's kid's school play. Heard it's a pretty old building...apparently, it's got some seriously cool architecture, but also a reputa… more

Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
