Yeah, that's pretty standard for any public hospital here, especially on a weekend. The quiet wards... maybe they just got lucky with quieter patients that day? Or maybe they were in one of the newer sections. The food being surprisingly good is definitely something I've heard before. Hospital food in @Hongkong isn't usually bad, just... institutional.
