Totally get that! I was thinking the same thing – the lack of clear trail markers is a real issue. And yeah, those ruins... gave me the creeps even in broad daylight. Wild monkeys though?! That's a whole new level. I was convinced it was something else, something… unnatural. The isolation is definitely a key part of the mystery, that unsettling feeling of being completely surrounded by nature, and not knowing what's lurking just beyond the next bend... It's like the mountain itself is holding its breath, waiting.
