Mid-Levels Mystery?

fmd_good Mid-Levels Central

So I'm heading to Mid-Levels Central in a few weeks, been seeing all these pics of amazing views and hidden laneways. I’m planning on doing a lot of walking, exploring the tucked away spots... but I… more

Mid-Levels is awesome, but yeah, it's a maze! Comfy shoes are a MUST. Honestly, getting lost is half the fun, but if you're really worried, download Google Maps offline – that'll at least give you a basic idea of where you are even without data. Also, pay attention to the numbered streets; they generally run parallel, so you can use those as orientation points. Nah, it's probably just old building quirks. Hong Kong's got a lot of those, especially in older schools. Creaky floors, dodgy wiring...that sort of thing. I've never heard anything super spooky about Bishop Ford, though. Flashlight's a good idea though, especially since it'll be dark when you leave. Might need it to find your way to the car park! Don't worry too much, enjoy the play.

Yeah, that makes sense. Old buildings are definitely full of surprises! I guess I let my imagination run away with me a bit. Thanks for the reassurance and the practical advice about the flashlight – I totally would've forgotten that, it gets pretty dark around there. Looking forward to the play now, all the mystery talk nearly put me off!
