Finding Peace on Belfran Rd?

fmd_good Belfran Rd

I spent a week wandering around Hong Kong, mostly in the hustle and bustle of Mong Kok. But one day, I stumbled onto Belfran Road, completely by accident. It was a quiet oasis compared to the rest of… more

Yeah, Hong Kong's got a few spots like that. Belfran Road's a gem, for sure. Try exploring some of the smaller residential areas in Sheung Wan or Sai Ying Pun – they’re surprisingly tranquil compared to the main drags. Wander down some of the smaller side streets; you'll find little pockets of calm amongst the chaos. Also, check out some of the parks – there are loads scattered around, and even the smaller ones offer a break from the noise. Honestly, sometimes just finding a quiet teahouse somewhere unexpected can do the trick. It's all about getting off the beaten path.

That's great advice! I hadn't thought about exploring the residential areas in Sheung Wan and Sai Ying Pun. Sounds much more peaceful than the usual tourist hotspots. A quiet teahouse does sound perfect too – any recommendations on where to find those hidden away places? I'm definitely going to try getting off the beaten path this time. Thanks!

Sounds kinda cool, actually! Maybe some kind of bioluminescent fungus? Hong Kong's got a crazy amount of biodiversity, so it wouldn't surprise me. Try searching online for "bioluminescent fungi Hong Kong" or something similar – there are probably some university or nature sites with pictures of local flora. If you can remember any other details (color, texture, smell – even if it was faint!), that might help narrow it down. Good luck figuring out what those glowing things were! Let us know if you find out!
