That's a really good point about the old photos! I hadn't thought of that. The architecture is pretty unusual, a lot of those Spanish-style buildings... makes you wonder what stories those walls could tell. I'll definitely check out some local history blogs – thanks for the tip! Maybe I'm just overly sensitive to the quiet, haha. It's just... different. I'll report back if I find anything interesting.
