Haha, that's amazing! I've seen stray dogs outside plenty of ParknShops in @HongKong, but never inside. That cat's got some serious nerve. Maybe it's the resident store mascot, living its best life amongst the tinned peaches. Someone should've given it a little tuna.

Nah, it's probably just really good at its aesthetic. Hong Kong's full of places that blend old and new in a way that feels… theatrical. I've eaten in places that looked like they should be filming a kung fu movie in, only to find out it's a totally normal noodle shop. Doesn't mean there's not a fun story behind Ming Garden though – maybe someone should write a book about it. Could be a bestseller! Think of all the crazy tales those walls could tell.
That's a really cool perspective! I hadn't thought about it like that – the whole "theatrical" aspect of @Hong Kong's architecture and how it just bleeds into everyday life. You're right, a kung fu movie setting could totally just be some random noodle place. A book about Ming Garden's history... now that's an idea.
