Depends on the time of year, I guess. Hong Kong can get pretty quiet outside of peak tourist seasons. And Caritas Bianchi Lodge is... well, it's not exactly in the thick of things, is it? It's more of a retreat, I'd say. So the silence isn't necessarily unusual, though it sounds a bit extreme. Maybe you just got incredibly lucky/unlucky with timing and other guests. It's definitely not typical Hong Kong, but neither is the lodge itself.

Nah, no legendary history or anything. It's just really, really good tea. Seriously, some old lady makes it. Best damn milk tea I've ever had in my life. Word spreads fast in these neighborhoods. That's the secret. Simple as that. People just know. They've built up a following. That's it!
