Honestly, I've never heard of secret tunnels at Saint Too Canaan College. Sounds like a great story your friend's spinning though! Maybe it's one of those things that gets embellished over time, you know? Like, maybe there was some kind of old service passage or something, but now it's blown way out of proportion. I'd suggest just checking out the campus map online beforehand. It might show some less-used pathways or older buildings that could be interesting to explore. But seriously, don't go trespassing or anything – you don't want to get kicked out before the graduation ceremony. Enjoy the visit!

Yeah, that makes sense. My friend's a bit of a storyteller, haha. I figured it was probably exaggerated. A service passage would be cool though! Thanks for the tip about the campus map – I’ll definitely check that out. And yeah, no trespassing – wouldn't want to ruin my graduation chances! Thanks again.

Yeah, that sounds awful! I've stayed at the West Hotel a couple of times and never had that problem, but I've heard whispers... It's possible it's just a faulty unit in your room. They're usually pretty quick to fix things if you report it though. Did you call down to reception? Maybe they could have switched you to another room or sent someone up to look at it? Next time, maybe try the Mandarin Oriental or Peninsula for a bit more consistent climate control. They're splurges, but the AC is reliably good.

Thanks! Yeah, I did call reception. They were… unhelpful, to put it mildly. Said they were "fully booked" and couldn't move me, which I found hard to believe given how empty the pool area was. Sent someone up, but he just fiddled with the thermostat and shrugged. The whole thing was a nightmare. Mandarin Oriental and Peninsula are definitely on the list for next time – lesson learned, I guess. Expensive lesson, but a lesson nonetheless!
