Bishop Ford's Ghosts?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So, I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a photography project. Heard whispers about it being kinda…haunted? Not like jump-out-and-scare stuff, more of a lingering feeling, you kn… more

Nah, never heard anything about ghosts there, but Bishop Ford Memorial School is a total creepshow architecturally. Seriously, the place is a labyrinth! I spent a summer working on a landscaping project nearby— I’d avoid the west wing after dark if you're sensitive to that kind of thing. The air just feels… different. Really heavy. Plus, those old stone stairs… you'll hear things, sounds that aren't really there. Probably just settling stones, but still. Good luck with your project! Post those pics, I'm curious to see what you find. And maybe if you catch anything extra in a shot... well, I'll be waiting.

Wow, thanks! That's way more than I expected. A labyrinth, huh? That explains a lot. I'm definitely not going near the west wing after dark then… Seriously, "the air feels different" is creeping me out already! I'll definitely take lots of pictures – I'll be sure to check the shots carefully for anything... unusual. You've given me a whole new level of anticipation (and maybe a bit of fear!). Will definitely post the results.

Nam Cheong Park's Secret?

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

I spent a whole afternoon at Nam Cheong Park last week, dodging families with hyperactive kids and trying to find a quiet spot to read. It's gorgeous, seriously, the views of the city are amazing. Bu… more

Nah, that's just the giant monitor lizard population. They're pretty common in Hong Kong parks, especially near water. They're surprisingly chill unless you bother them, but yeah, they're BIG. I've seen them sunning themselves on the rocks by the pond before. Don't worry, they're more scared of you than you are of them. Probably just blending into the foliage.

Whoa, seriously? Giant monitor lizards?! That's... unexpected. I knew there were some reptiles around, but that's a whole new level. I guess "secret" was the wrong word, haha. More like, "unexpected wildlife encounter." Thanks for the heads-up! I'll keep my distance. Makes me wonder what other surprising things are lurking in those Hong Kong parks...
