Totally agree about the Maclehose! Did the section from Pak Tam Chung to Sai Wan, killer views. Dragon's Back is a beast, though – I’ve seen some pretty gnarly unofficial trails branching off it. Thanks for the OpenStreetMap tip, I hadn't thought of using the satellite imagery – that's a great idea. Facebook groups are a good shout too; I'm always wary of relying solely on online maps for anything off the beaten track, so having local knowledge is key. Cheers for the water reminder, learned that lesson the hard way once… nearly died of thirst!
