Bishop Ford's Ghost?

fmd_good Bishop Ford Memorial School

So I'm heading to Bishop Ford Memorial School next week for a history project. Heard whispers about a certain… *presence* lingering around the old auditorium. Apparently, it's connected to some old… more

That's awesome you're doing a project on Bishop Ford Memorial School! The architecture is stunning, you're right. About the ghost stories... I haven't personally experienced anything, but I've heard similar things. Supposedly, it's not exactly malicious, more... melancholic? Something about a tragic accident during a production of "Macbeth," I think? Maybe someone tripped and fell from the stage or something... Anyway, bring a friend, stay in well-lit areas, and definitely take lots of pictures! Let me know how your project goes and if you encounter anything...interesting. Good luck!

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
