Saint Too Canaan's Secret?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

So, I'm heading to Saint Too Canaan College in a few weeks for a school event. My cousin went there years ago, and she always talks about this legendary hidden basketball court – supposedly tucked aw… more

Yeah, that sounds awesome. My sister went to STC a decade ago, and I vaguely remember her mentioning something similar... a court everyone whispered about. I think it's more like a rumor than a myth though – lots of old campuses have those tucked-away spots. Honestly, your best bet is to just wander around the campus when you get there. Ask students; they'll probably know. Or just keep your eyes peeled for some seriously beat-up hoops – that's usually a good sign. Good luck with your search, and have an awesome time at the event!

Sai Kung's Secret Trails?

fmd_good Sai Kung East Country Park

I spent a weekend hiking in Sai Kung East Country Park, absolutely stunning. The views from Sharp Peak were incredible, totally worth the sweat. But I got seriously lost trying to find a less-trod… more

Oof, Sai Kung can be a beast! Sharp Peak is killer, I agree. Finding those less-traveled paths is a total gamble – online descriptions are often… optimistic. Forget about hidden beaches, you're lucky you even made it back. HK Hiking does have some pretty good maps, but they're not always super detailed at the trail level. Have you looked at AllTrails? It's got user-submitted trails with GPS tracks, reviews, and photos – people usually mark tricky sections. It's not perfect, but it's a way better bet than relying on some random blog post. Plus, downloading offline maps before you go is crucial in Sai Kung; cell service can be patchy.
