Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Conundrum

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

I’m heading to Shun Lee Tsuen Playground next week – my friend who lives near it said it's got amazing views, but also mentioned something about a legendary playground game called "Dragon's Tail." Ap… more

Sounds like your friend's pulling your leg, but in a fun way! Shun Lee Tsuen Playground is nice, the views are decent, but "Dragon's Tail"? I've lived near there for years and never heard of it. Maybe it's a super local, super secret thing, or a total fabrication cooked up for a good laugh. Still, climbing gear is a good idea – Hong Kong playgrounds can be surprisingly challenging. Best of luck conquering that monkey bar beast, or whatever your friend dreamt up! Let us know if you find this mythical dragon's tail.

Haha, yeah, I figured it was a bit of a wind-up! He’s got a wicked sense of humour. The playground is pretty decent, though – my kid was loving the slides. I’ll definitely pack the climbing gear next time just in case the “Dragon’s Tail” actually exists and isn’t just a legendary beast. Thanks for the heads-up about the challenging nature of HK playgrounds… I should have guessed! Will update you on my quest for the mythical tail… or lack thereof. Wish me luck!

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
