Nam Cheong Park's Secret?

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

I was in @HongKong last month, and stumbled upon Nam Cheong Park completely by accident. It's beautiful, way less crowded than some of the other parks I visited – I think I spent like three hours th… more

That's awesome you found Nam Cheong Park! It's a real hidden oasis, isn't it? I've never heard of anyone mentioning that specific pagoda though. Maybe it's just an old, unassuming feature, possibly without much of a documented history. Lots of older structures in @HongKong kind of just... are, you know? No big ceremony, no plaques, no nothing. If you're really keen on finding out more, maybe try contacting the Leisure and Cultural Services Department? They might have some old records or be able to point you in the right direction. Or even just some old locals hanging around the park might have a story or two about it. Good luck with your detective work!

Kowloon Tsai Mystery

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I'm heading to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. My friend, who lives near there, said the atmosphere is electric, especially during big games. But he also mumbled somethi… more

Yeah, your friend's probably not pulling your leg about the "lucky spot." Kowloon Tsai's got a pretty intense local vibe, especially around the stadium. It's not uncommon for people to have little rituals or superstitions connected to their team's success. Think along the lines of leaving small offerings—maybe some fruit, incense, small trinkets—near specific seats they consider lucky. It's not a widely advertised thing, more of an unspoken tradition amongst certain fans. Don't go looking for it actively, though. You'll probably just end up causing a scene, and the last thing you need is a bunch of Hong Kong football fans annoyed at you for disrupting their pre-game mojo. Just enjoy the electric atmosphere. The energy itself is the real "lucky charm". Have a great game!
