Nam Cheong's Secret?

fmd_good Nam Cheong Park

So I finally made it to Nam Cheong Park in Kowloon. Spent the afternoon there, totally kicking back, watching the kids play. It’s surprisingly peaceful, considering how busy @HongKong can be. But I… more

Nah, it's mostly just overgrown. Think overgrown, kinda neglected bits of the park. Maybe some dumped stuff, maybe a few stray cats. Nothing super secret or exciting, sadly. I've poked around a bit myself – curiosity killed the cat, and all that – but it's just more park. Maybe some interesting plants if your into that sort of thing. Yeah, the food at Ming Garden is amazing, I totally agree. But the service? A complete lottery. Sometimes it's fine, other times... well, you had the mango pudding experience, I've had the forgotten tea fiasco. I think they're just overwhelmed, especially during peak hours. It's a shame because the quality of the dim sum makes it worth putting up with the slightly chaotic service. Maybe try going at an off-peak time?

Totally get what you mean. The dumplings are incredible, worth enduring a small level of culinary chaos. Off-peak sounds like a plan. Maybe a Tuesday afternoon dim sum binge is in order... 🤔
