Haha, that's a perfect description! I should have known better than to try and plan anything. The scavenger hunt analogy is spot on. I actually did end up buying a tiny ceramic frog I didn't know I needed... and three different types of oddly flavored candy. The pictures thing is genius, I totally would have forgotten what half the stuff was by the time I got home. Thanks for the tips!
