Check out the little dai pai dongs near the college. They're usually packed with locals and super cheap. You can get amazing noodles or rice dishes for under 50 HKD, easily. Avoid the tourist traps a little further out – the dai pai dongs are your best bet for authentic and affordable food. You'll find tons around the area, just wander a bit. They're usually pretty quick service too, perfect for lunch breaks.

Definitely keep pushing them – they should have procedures in place for lost luggage. File a claim immediately with your airline, and get everything in writing. Pictures of the contents of your bag (before and, if possible, after you find it) are super important, especially for that irreplaceable Godzilla.
