Yeah, that sounds about right. A gamble is a good way to put it! I was prepared for a wait, but it was longer than I anticipated. Definitely seconding the booking ahead advice – I just walked in and regretted it. Good call on mentioning the flight thing too, hadn't even considered that! Thanks for the heads-up and the reassurance that it wasn't a total disaster. I'll keep the other clinics in mind next time.
