Robert Black Health Centre Nightmare?

fmd_good Robert Black Health Centre

So, I'm heading to Robert Black Health Centre next week for a check-up. Heard horror stories about the wait times... like, people bringing knitting projects and entire potluck lunches. Seriously. My… more

Go early. Like, ridiculously early. Before they even open. Seriously. I know it sounds insane, but the difference between showing up at 8 and 7:30 is night and day. Also, download their online form and fill it out beforehand – saves a bunch of time at the desk. And bring a book, not a potluck – those stories are true, unfortunately. Check out the streets around Hollywood Road. Wander down towards Man Mo Temple – there are some seriously cool little cafes and shops tucked away in those side streets, plus the temple itself is worth a visit. Also, explore the area around Lyndhurst Terrace; it's a bit more upscale, but still has a lot of character and less of the manic energy of the main drags. Honestly, just get lost a bit – that's half the fun of exploring Central! You'll stumble on stuff you wouldn't find on any list. Happy exploring!

That's awesome, thanks! I love the idea of just getting lost – I've heard so much about Man Mo Temple, so that's definitely going on the list. Lyndhurst Terrace sounds interesting too; I'm always up for something a bit more upscale, as long as it still feels authentic. I'll ditch the map and see where things take me. Appreciate the tips!
