Yeah, Hung Hom can be… interesting. I've lived near that area for years and seen weirder stuff than a guy tossing something metallic into the harbor. Probably just fishing gear, honestly. Lots of illegal fishing activity around there, and they're not exactly known for their environmental consciousness. But a "shifty look" doesn't exactly narrow it down, does it? Could've been anything. Maybe he was just getting rid of a broken lighter or something equally mundane. Unless it involved glowing lights and tentacles, I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
