Haha, yeah, I figured it was probably blown way out of proportion. My roommate's cousin is... well, let's just say their storytelling skills are... robust. High-stakes mahjong in @Hongkong though? That's a pretty spicy detail. I'll have to subtly quiz them again about the "secret society" – maybe I'll get a more interesting story that time. Thanks for the realistic perspective! Ramen does sound more likely than ancient curses, though... 🤔
