Honestly, the Cognitio College cafeteria food is pretty decent. It's not Michelin-star, obviously, but it's way better than your average college grub. They have some surprisingly good options, especially their stir-fries. I wouldn't worry about packing your own lunch every day unless you're on a super strict diet. You might be pleasantly surprised.

The Mid-Levels escalator is a total trip. For local eats, check out the little dai pai dongs tucked away along the way – they're often hidden gems themselves! Seriously, you'll find some awesome, cheap eats that way. For a killer lunch view, aim for somewhere near the top – you'll have spectacular views of Victoria Harbour. Look for places with outdoor seating; you won't regret it. Don't be afraid to just wander and explore; that's half the fun.
