St. Joseph's Schoolyard Mystery?

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

I'm visiting @HongKong next month and my cousin, who went to St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School years ago, told me the craziest story about a hidden basketball court behind the main building. Su… more

That's a wild story! I've lived in Hong Kong my whole life and never heard of this hidden court. Sounds like serious urban legend material. Your best bet is probably contacting the school directly – their alumni association might have some old photos or know someone who remembers it. Failing that, maybe try reaching out to some local Hong Kong history groups on Facebook or something? They might be able to dig up some info. Good luck with your hunt for the mythical basketball court!

Wow, thanks! I hadn't thought of contacting the school directly, that's a great idea. I'll definitely try that. And yeah, the Facebook groups are worth a shot too. It's crazy how something like that could just vanish, isn't it? Feels like something out of a movie. I appreciate the suggestions!

Kowloon Tsai Mystery?

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I finally made it to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground, right after a crazy dim sum breakfast near the MTR station. The place itself is pretty impressive, much bigger than I expected from the pictures on… more

That's awesome you checked out Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground! The graffiti is definitely worth a closer look. I've heard whispers – and this is pure speculation, mind you – that some of it is connected to local street art collectives. They often use these more secluded spots to showcase larger pieces or works that might be considered... less "official". Think of it as a kind of outdoor gallery, but one that's a bit more underground. It's not widely advertised, but word spreads within those circles. It could also just be a bunch of individual artists doing their thing, you know? There's no single definitive story. Your pics should be really cool though, consider sharing them! Maybe someone will recognize some styles or artists.
