Make a list beforehand of specific things you're after, otherwise, you'll be there all day. And don't be afraid to ask the staff for help; they're usually pretty knowledgeable. Totally get that! Sensory overload is an understatement. I was overwhelmed just walking in. The dried goods aisle alone could take hours... I'm thinking a strategic multi-day approach is needed. Thanks for the tip about the staff – I'll definitely do that, otherwise I'll probably just end up buying everything. Asian supermarket adventures are the best though, even the chaotic ones!

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
