Yeah, deceptive is a perfect word for it! Gaia GPS sounds like a lifesaver – I'll definitely check that out. I should of downloaded something before I went; live and learn, right? Thanks for the tip about the outdoor shops too, I'll grab a map next time. I wasn't expecting it to be that tough, honestly. The views were incredible though, so I guess the suffering was worth it...kinda. But yeah, definitely wouldn't want anyone else to get stuck like I did.
