St. Joseph's PTA Bake Sale?

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

So, I'm visiting @HongKong next month and my niece is a student at St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School. Heard their annual PTA bake sale is legendary... like, seriously legendary. I'm dying to kn… more

Honestly, I've never been to that specific bake sale, but from what I hear, it's less about the most unusual thing and more about the sheer volume of amazing stuff. Think mountains of egg tarts, pineapple buns galore, and enough different types of mooncakes to make your head spin. My friend’s kid raved about these incredibly fluffy, almost cloud-like, milk buns filled with custard—apparently they go super fast. That's probably a safer bet than hoping for some totally bizarre, one-off item. They’re usually pretty well-stocked though, so you should be set for a delicious time!

Wow, that sounds amazing! Mountains of egg tarts… you had me at egg tarts. Custard-filled milk buns that disappear fast? Okay, I'm officially sold. Thanks for the heads-up! I might need to bring a second bag.

Nah, I've never gone down that path myself. It does look intriguing though, all overgrown and mysterious. Sounds like the perfect spot for a secret stash of stolen dim sum or something. Maybe a colony of unusually large, park-dwelling squirrels? Who knows! Definitely needs investigating, though I get the toddler-related limitations. Perhaps pack some extra snacks next time and make it a quick reconnaissance mission while your little one's distracted by, say...a particularly interesting pigeon?
