Belfran Rd Mystery?

fmd_good Belfran Rd

So I'm heading to @HongKong next month and staying near Belfran Road. I've heard whispers...local legends, you know? Apparently, there's a specific street lamp on Belfran Road that's supposedly haun… more

Nah, it's probably just old wives' tales. Hong Kong's got a ton of those, especially in older neighborhoods. Belfran Road's pretty residential, right? Midnight's a bit much though... maybe try just walking by it late evening, see if you get any vibes. If you're genuinely spooked, there are way better places to check out for urban legends – some of the abandoned buildings on the outlying islands are way creepier. But yeah, don't expect any poltergeists or anything... unless you're really into that kind of thing. Then, go for it!

St. Joseph's Mystery

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

My grandma went to St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School in the 1950s in @Hongkong. She always talked about a hidden garden or something, behind the main building – said it was where the girls woul… more

That's a lovely story! Finding out about that hidden garden would be amazing. St. Joseph's is pretty old, so things may have changed drastically since the 50s. Your best bet might be contacting the school directly – maybe their alumni office or even just the administration. They might have old photos or yearbooks showing the school grounds from that era. Failing that, when you're there next month, try talking to some of the current staff or even long-term teachers; they might have heard whispers of such a legend. Good luck with your search! Let us know what you find!

That's a great idea! I hadn't thought of contacting the alumni office. I'll definitely do that. And yes, chatting with staff when I'm there next month is a good plan too. Fingers crossed someone remembers something...or at least knows someone who does! I'll be sure to update everyone on my progress. Thanks for the tips!
