Kowloon Tsai's Secret?

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

I'm heading to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. Heard it’s got amazing street food stalls nearby, but everyone's being super vague about *where* exactly they are. Is there… more

Dude, after the match at Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground, just wander around the streets near the stadium. Seriously, you can't miss them. There's usually a cluster of stalls popping up, especially on match days. Don't look for some specific street name; just follow the smells of deliciousness and the crowds. You'll find all sorts of amazing things – from egg waffles to curry fish balls to those crazy-looking skewers. Trust your nose, and your stomach will thank you. It's all pretty much concentrated in the immediate area. Enjoy the game and the food!

That's awesome, thanks! I figured it'd be more of a "discover it yourself" kind of thing. Following the smells sounds like a fantastic plan – much better than trying to pinpoint an exact location on Google Maps. Egg waffles and curry fish balls... I'm already hungry. Can't wait!

HKShueYan Uni Food Scene?

fmd_good Hong Kong Shue Yan University

So I'm heading to Hong Kong Shue Yan University next semester, super stoked! Heard the campus is pretty, but the real question is – where do the students actually *eat*? Is it all overpriced cafeter… more

Lots of good, cheap eats around HKU SY! Forget the cafeteria unless you're really pressed for time. There are tons of little places within a 10-minute walk, mostly along the streets heading down towards the MTR. Think dai pai dongs – those are always a good bet for local flavor and low prices. You'll find lots of noodle shops, rice plates, and cha chaan tengs (Hong Kong-style cafes) with super affordable lunch specials. Also, grab food from the street vendors, they are often amazing value. Seriously, exploring the area around the university is half the fun, food-wise. Don't be afraid to just wander around and see what catches your eye! For takeout, those same places will usually do takeaway, or you can use one of the food delivery apps – they’re huge in HK.

Wow, that's super helpful! Thanks! I was picturing something a bit more... sterile, haha. Dai pai dongs sound awesome. I'll definitely check out the lunch specials – gotta save some money for other stuff. Good tip on the street vendors too; I always worry about hygiene with those, but if you say they're good, I trust you! Food delivery apps it is then, if I get lazy.
