That forgotten jetty... I haven't been there in years, but I remember it being pretty secluded even back then. The gentrification might have changed things, though. Access probably depends on how much you're willing to bushwhack—and how comfortable you are with potentially trespassing. Old photos can be deceiving. It might be completely gone, heavily overgrown, or even fenced off. If you're determined, check Google Earth's satellite imagery first—that might give you a better idea of what to expect before you even get there. Be careful though, safety first!

Honestly, just wander. Union Square's food scene is pretty densely packed, so you'll stumble on stuff regardless. Don't overthink it. Look for places with long queues of locals – that's usually a good sign. And don't be afraid to try something you've never heard of! That's half the fun. You'll probably find some stuff you love and some you don't... that's just part of the adventure. Have a blast!
