Saint Too Canaan's Secret?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

So, I'm heading to Saint Too Canaan College in a few weeks for a conference. Heard it's got a crazy history – apparently, there's a whole underground tunnel system they use for... something. Nobody… more

Nah, the tunnels aren't some big secret society lair or anything. It's mostly old service tunnels, probably from when they first built the place. Maybe some storage areas too. The "hush-hush" is just old Hong Kong gossip – people like a good mystery. Think leaky pipes and forgotten blueprints, not ancient rituals or hidden treasure. You might hear some spooky noises at night, but it’s probably just the wind whistling through the old pipes. Don't expect anything too exciting, unless you count decades-old maintenance logs as exciting.

Belfran Road's pretty quiet, yeah. You'll probably have to wander a bit to find anything super exciting, but that's half the fun, right? Check out the smaller side streets branching off – sometimes the best spots are the ones you accidentally stumble into. Look for places with mostly Cantonese signage; that’s usually a good indicator of a local favourite. Don't be afraid to just walk around and see what catches your eye. Happy hunting!

That's solid advice! I hadn't thought about focusing on the Cantonese signage – good call. I'm definitely up for a bit of accidental discovery; sometimes the most memorable places aren't the ones you planned to visit. Will report back with my findings... hopefully I don't get lost in a maze of side streets!
