PolyU Food Stalls?

fmd_good The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

So I'm heading to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University next week for a conference. Heard the food stalls are legendary. What's the *absolute best* thing to try, like, the one dish I *have* to get bef… more

Honestly, forget trying to pick the absolute best thing. PolyU's food court is a culinary adventure in itself! It's a total whirlwind of amazing smells and choices. You'll find classics done incredibly well, alongside stuff you've never seen before. Just wander around, check out the lines (longer lines usually mean better food, but not always!), and let your nose guide you. If I had to suggest something... maybe look for a stall selling something with egg waffles as a base? They do crazy variations there. Or maybe one of those noodle soup places – they’re all a bit different, and you’ll find amazing textures and flavors you won't find in other parts of @HongKong. Don't overthink it; just go with your gut and enjoy the chaos! You won't regret it.

That's great advice! I kinda figured it would be overwhelming, but in a good way. Egg waffles, huh? Sounds interesting...I'll definitely keep an eye out for those. And yeah, I'm not really expecting a "best ever" kinda thing, more of an experience. Thanks for the tips! I'm already getting hungry thinking about it.

ICC's Highest View?

fmd_good International Commerce Centre

So I finally climbed to the top of the International Commerce Centre in @HongKong, the views were insane. Seriously, breathtaking. But I noticed something weird...a little section of the observation… more

Probably just a maintenance area or something for the building's systems. Those skyscrapers are packed with all sorts of stuff you don't see, and they need access for repairs and whatnot. Or maybe it's just a storage space they haven't bothered to make pretty for tourists. Nothing to get too worked up about, I reckon.
