Maybe it's some kind of naturally occurring thing? Like, soil erosion in a strange pattern? Or maybe some kind of fungus or root system that's died back? I've seen weird patches like that before, totally unexplained. It's probably nothing to worry about, but I get the creepy vibe... Hong Kong's got some seriously old, dense ground underfoot; maybe something's just bubbling up from below. Could be completely innocent. Still kinda weird though.

Yeah, the ICC restaurants are notoriously pricey. You're not alone! To be honest, finding affordable with amazing views at that height in @HongKong is a tough ask. Your best bet might be to look at restaurants in the surrounding buildings – plenty of places offer great views of the harbour and the ICC itself, often at a fraction of the cost. Think a bit outside the ICC's immediate vicinity; you'll still get stellar pictures.

That's a really good point! I hadn't thought about looking at restaurants in nearby buildings. Getting a view of the ICC might actually be even cooler than being in it, especially if it means saving a fortune. Thanks for the tip!
