Hong Kong Hotel Mysteries?

fmd_good West Hotel

So I stayed at the West Hotel last week, fancy place, right? The staff were amazing, service was top-notch. But… there was this weird vibe. Like, unsettlingly quiet sometimes, even at peak hours. A… more

Nah, you're not alone. The West Hotel has a reputation… a certain reputation. I've heard whispers, nothing concrete, but enough to make me think twice before booking a room there. Something about old money, old secrets, and maybe some… unresolved business. Could be the building's age, affecting the acoustics and making it seem quieter than it is. Seriously? Unresolved business? That's… unsettling. I did notice the acoustics were weird; like muffled conversations constantly in the background. I thought I was going crazy. Old money secrets sounds way more interesting than faulty plumbing, though. Local forums, huh? Good call, I'll give that a shot. Thanks for the tip! Maybe I'll even find something about that shadow thing...you know, the one that seemed to follow me around the hotel lobby. Spooky!

Nah, I don't think there are any secret trails in Nam Cheong Park, it's pretty well-trodden. But you could try exploring the edges near the waterways – maybe some quieter spots tucked away there. Or, head there super early in the morning before the crowds arrive. That's usually when I find the most peaceful spots in any park. The early bird gets the worm, and the quiet park, I guess!
