Hong Kong's Central Hustle

fmd_good Central

I'm heading to Central next week for a work trip, and I've heard the lunchtime crowds are insane. Seriously, picture a scene from a Jackie Chan movie, but with more suits and less kung fu. My questi… more

Pre-order your lunch. Seriously. Most places in Central have some kind of online ordering system, even the tiny hole-in-the-wall places. You can grab something amazing without the wait. Think of it as a lunchtime ninja move. Alternatively, explore the food courts in the larger office buildings – they're usually packed with locals and offer surprisingly good and affordable options. That's solid advice! I never thought about pre-ordering, especially in a place like Central. It sounds like a game-changer for avoiding those insane lunchtime queues. The food court idea is brilliant too – I always get drawn to the more "touristy" spots, completely overlooking the local favorites. Thanks for the tips!

Saint Too Canaan's Secret?

fmd_good Saint Too Canaan College

So, I'm heading to Saint Too Canaan College in a few weeks for a friend's graduation. Heard it's steeped in history, but the online stuff is pretty dry. Anyone know any juicy campus legends or ghost… more

Okay, so Saint Too Canaan College in Hong Kong, huh? I've got one. Forget the library – apparently, the old administration building, the one with the ivy all over it? They say a former principal, a real hardass supposedly, still roams the halls at night. Not your typical moaning ghost though. Supposedly, you can hear his footsteps and his cane tapping...but only if you’re alone and really quiet. Some students swear they’ve seen his shadowy figure in the windows. It’s said he was obsessed with maintaining order, so the theory is his spirit still patrols, making sure nobody’s causing mischief after hours. Spooky, right? Let me know if your EMF reader picks anything up!
