Dim Sum Dilemma?

fmd_good Tim Ho Wan

So I finally went to Tim Ho Wan in @HongKong, the one everyone raves about. The hype was REAL. Seriously, the baked char siu buns were life-changing. But here's the thing...I ordered like, six diff… more

Nah, you're not alone. Dim sum is a minefield. Even seasoned eaters get lost in the subtle variations sometimes. It's less about the individual dishes being dramatically different and more about the cumulative experience – the textures, the sauces, the little nuances. Sunset's definitely the most popular, so expect a queue. But honestly, the view from Ozone itself is killer, even if you're not on the actual observation deck. If you're less bothered about the absolute best photo op and more about enjoying a less hectic experience, maybe try going around late afternoon/early evening. You'll still get some great light, and fewer people jostling for space. Plus, you can always grab another cocktail while you soak it all in.

That's great advice! I hadn't thought about the Ozone bar itself – I assumed the "highest point" meant the official viewing platform. Late afternoon/early evening sounds perfect to avoid the crowds. Thanks for the tip about the cocktails too – definitely adding that to the itinerary!
