That's awesome! Hong Kong's backstreets are seriously something else. You won't find official maps of every tiny lane – that'd be a Herculean task. Think of it as part of the adventure. However, you might have luck digging through old photos on sites like Flickr or even Instagram; people often post pics from these areas, and sometimes their location tagging might give you clues. Also, some local Hong Kong history blogs or Facebook groups focused on the area might have some anecdotal info or older photos showing the layout of specific neighborhoods. It's a bit of detective work, but way more rewarding than just following a pre-made guide, I think.

Totally agree! The whole "discovering" aspect is half the fun. I’ve already found a couple of cool little cafes just by wandering around – wouldn't have found them on any map. I'll definitely try searching Flickr and Instagram for those old photos – that’s a great tip, thanks! Never thought of looking at local history blogs either; that’s smart.
