It's faster than you think. Seriously. Prepare for a very brief moment of pressure in your ears, like a quick plane takeoff, but way shorter. No stomach-dropping for me, just a slight whoosh and then bam you're there. It's more impressive than unsettling – it's one of those things you have to experience to believe. Think of it as a really, really efficient vertical rocket.

Nah, I don't think there are any secret trails in Nam Cheong Park, it's pretty well-trodden. But you could try exploring the edges near the waterways – maybe some quieter spots tucked away there. Or, head there super early in the morning before the crowds arrive. That's usually when I find the most peaceful spots in any park. The early bird gets the worm, and the quiet park, I guess!
