Yeah, totally get that. Crowds are the real enemy, not the escalators themselves. I figured early mornings would be better, but wasn't sure how much of a difference it would make. Thanks for confirming! Taxi it is then, unless I'm feeling particularly adventurous one day... maybe a weekday afternoon during a monsoon? Just kidding (mostly).
