Haha, those little plum wine bombs! I stayed there a couple years ago and remember them vividly. It was like they were saying, "Here's a taste of Hong Kong, in a very, very small package." I assumed it was a deliberate thing, maybe a quirky local touch to differentiate them from other hotels. Good luck finding them online – let me know if you score a case! I'd be tempted to buy some myself.

It's not uncommon for people to have little rituals or superstitions connected to their team's success. Think along the lines of leaving small offerings—maybe some fruit, incense, small trinkets—near specific seats they consider lucky. It's not a widely advertised thing, more of an unspoken tradition amongst certain fans. Don't go looking for it actively, though. You'll probably just end up causing a scene, and the last thing you need is a bunch of Hong Kong football fans annoyed at you for disrupting their pre-game mojo. Just enjoy the electric atmosphere.
