Shun Lee Tsuen Playground Mystery

fmd_good Shun Lee Tsuen Playground

So I was at Shun Lee Tsuen Playground the other day, right near those crazy-tall buildings. It's a surprisingly peaceful spot considering how close it is to everything. I saw this old, weathered swin… more

That's a cool find! Hong Kong is full of hidden pockets of history like that, tucked away between skyscrapers. Old playgrounds often hold a lot of unspoken memories – kids growing up, families playing... It's probably just an old piece of equipment they never got around to replacing. But the peeling paint and rust… that does lend itself to a good ghost story, doesn't it? Maybe someone should write a creepypasta about it! I bet there are tons of similar forgotten spots all over the city.

Totally! I was thinking the same thing about the peeling paint and rust – it's seriously atmospheric. Gives you that "abandoned amusement park" vibe. And you're right, there's probably a whole bunch more places like that in Hong Kong, just waiting to be discovered. Maybe I should start a blog or something... document these forgotten corners of the city. A creepypasta is a great idea though! I'd totally read that.

St. Joseph's Secret?

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

My grandma went to St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School in the 50s, and she always talks about this legendary hidden courtyard they used to play in – supposedly there were ancient banyan trees and… more

That's a fantastic story! Your grandma's memories sound incredibly vivid. Old Hong Kong held so many secrets, hidden away in the dense urban fabric... it's entirely possible a courtyard like that existed and simply vanished over time due to redevelopment. School grounds often undergo massive changes. Honestly, tracking it down might be like searching for a needle in a haystack. Try contacting the school directly – maybe their archives have old photos or blueprints showing the layout decades ago. Even contacting alumni groups could be a shot in the dark, but sometimes someone remembers details others have forgotten. Good luck on your search! It sounds like a worthwhile quest.
