Yeah, Nam Cheong Park is awesome! I've spent ages there too. Those little paths...they're just overgrown bits, mostly. Nothing super secret, but I did once stumble across a tiny, abandoned looking pavilion way back in one of them. It was kinda creepy, covered in vines and stuff, but nothing too exciting inside. Just some old, rusty tools. Mostly, I think people avoid them cause they're a bit muddy and overgrown after rain. Think less "secret passage" and more "nature's shortcut". It's all part of the charm, though!

Maybe grab a cheap local SIM card with data so you can use your phone's GPS if you get really turned around, but honestly, embracing the chaos is part of the Hong Kong experience.
