PolyU Food Stalls?

fmd_good The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

So I'm heading to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University next week for a conference. Heard the food stalls on campus are legendary. Seriously, people rave about them. My question is: what's the *abso… more

Honestly, the curry rice at the PolyU food court is consistently amazing. It's not some crazy experimental dish, but it's just good. Really good. Properly comforting and hits the spot after a long day of lectures… or conferences, in your case. The portions are huge too, so you get your money's worth. Skip the fancy stuff and go straight for that. You won't regret it.

You're right! I usually avoid the food court stuff because it's usually…meh. But curry rice that good? That's a game changer. Thanks for the solid recommendation; I'll definitely try it next time I'm around. I should of thought to check out the food court more honestly. I've been missing out!

Try searching online for "Ming Garden Restaurant Hong Kong menu". Sometimes restaurants will have an online presence, even if it's not super polished. Failing that, a picture of the menu uploaded to Google Translate's image translation might work, though the accuracy isn't always perfect. You could also try searching for reviews; someone might have posted a picture of the menu, or even mentioned some of the dishes in their review. Good luck! Hope you find your answers.

That's a great suggestion, thanks! I hadn't thought of using Google Translate's image function on a menu picture... that's clever. I'll definitely try all those options. Fingers crossed I find something! It's a bit of a long shot, but it's worth a shot, right? I'll let you know if I have any luck.
