Yeah, that waterfall... it's a legend, I think. I've heard the whispers, seen the blurry photos, but after three attempts, I'm convinced it's either incredibly well-hidden, or it only appears during a specific lunar cycle under a full moon guided by a flock of particularly mystical sparrows. Or, more likely, it's just a good story. Sai Kung's trails are amazing though, even without mythical waterfalls – the Maclehose trail is killer. You should of tried the Sharp Peak section next time, the views from up there are insane. Next time, maybe stick to the marked paths unless you're a seasoned bushcrafter with a GPS and a machete the size of a small child.

Check out the cafes around the Chai Wan area. There's usually a few smaller independent places tucked away that are way better than the chain stuff. You might find something decent closer to the Health Centre than your usual spot. Good luck with the appointment! And yeah, hospital coffee is a crime against humanity.
