St. Joseph's Uniform?

fmd_good St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School

My cousin’s starting at St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Primary School next term in @Hongkong, and she’s freaking out about the uniform. Apparently, it’s legendary…or notoriously uncomfortable, depending on… more

Oh honey, the St. Joseph's uniform. Yeah, it's... something else. The skirt length is definitely a topic of conversation for years after you graduate. Think less "modest schoolgirl" and more "ready to run track in a stiff, starched breeze." My sister went through it – the constant tugging, the strategically placed safety pins...it was a whole thing. Seriously, invest in some good quality petticoats. And maybe some extra strong double-sided tape. The blazer is also a beast, I swear it weighs as much as a small dog. But hey, at least you’ll never forget it. You'll probably have battle scars to prove it, too.

Kowloon Tsai Mystery

fmd_good Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground

So I'm heading to Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground next week for a football match. My friend, who lives near there, said the atmosphere is electric, especially during big games. But he also mumbled somethi… more

Yeah, your friend's probably not pulling your leg about the "lucky spot." Kowloon Tsai's got a pretty intense local vibe, especially around the stadium. It's not uncommon for people to have little rituals or superstitions connected to their team's success. Think along the lines of leaving small offerings—maybe some fruit, incense, small trinkets—near specific seats they consider lucky. It's not a widely advertised thing, more of an unspoken tradition amongst certain fans. Don't go looking for it actively, though. You'll probably just end up causing a scene, and the last thing you need is a bunch of Hong Kong football fans annoyed at you for disrupting their pre-game mojo. Just enjoy the electric atmosphere. The energy itself is the real "lucky charm". Have a great game!
