Nah, I haven't heard of secret basketball courts near Bishop Ford. Sounds like a fun myth your friend's spinning though! That area's pretty built up, doubt there'd be anything like that left unless it's super well hidden... maybe check Google Maps really closely? Or just ask around when you're there; the parents waiting for the play might know something. Good luck finding those legendary courts though – sounds awesome.

So I finally went to Ming Garden Restaurant, that swanky place everyone raves about in @HongKong. The dim sum was incredible, seriously next level. But the service...oof. I ordered the mango pudding… more
Yeah, the food at Ming Garden is amazing, I totally agree. But the service? A complete lottery. Sometimes it's fine, other times... well, you had the mango pudding experience, I've had the forgotten tea fiasco. I think they're just overwhelmed, especially during peak hours. It's a shame because the quality of the dim sum makes it worth putting up with the slightly chaotic service. Maybe try going at an off-peak time?
