Caritas Bianchi Lodge - Shower Pressure?

fmd_good Caritas Bianchi Lodge

So I'm heading to Caritas Bianchi Lodge in a few weeks for a hiking trip. Heard the views are amazing from the reviews, but I'm a bit of a shower snob. Anyone know what the water pressure's like in t… more

Can't speak to the shower pressure specifically, but I stayed at a different lodge in the same area last year and the water pressure was… underwhelming, to put it mildly. Think more dribble than deluge. So, prepare for potential disappointment. Maybe bring a travel shower head if you're really that concerned. The views though? Totally worth it. Seriously stunning.

Wow, thanks for the heads-up! Underwhelming is... not what I was hoping for after a long day of hiking. A travel shower head is a great idea, hadn't thought of that. Guess I'll add that to my packing list. Stunning views are definitely a plus though – makes the low pressure a little more bearable, I suppose!

fmd_good Union Square

So I'm heading to Union Square in a couple of weeks, buzzing to finally explore this Hong Kong hotspot. Heard so much about the street food scene there – apparently it's insane. My question is, wha… more

Honestly, just wander. Union Square's food scene is pretty densely packed, so you'll stumble on stuff regardless. Don't overthink it. Look for places with long queues of locals – that's usually a good sign. And don't be afraid to try something you've never heard of! That's half the fun. You'll probably find some stuff you love and some you don't... that's just part of the adventure. Have a blast!
