West Hotel, huh? That's a pricey one. Hong Kong is… intense. Lots of history packed into a small space, so maybe the building has some… residual energy? I’ve never stayed there, but I've heard whispers about old buildings in that area having… quirks. Could just be your imagination, sleep deprivation's a helluva drug. But then again… creepy hallway shadows are never a good sign. Maybe check out some local folklore? You might find something interesting.

Nah, probably nothing exciting. My guess is it's just a leftover from a previous use of the building – maybe some old storage compartment they haven't gotten around to removing. Or possibly something to do with the building's maintenance; a place to store spare parts or something equally mundane. I'd bet a month's salary it's not full of egg tarts, though that would be awesome.
Yeah, that's what I figured. A boring old storage closet is way more likely than a secret passage to a hidden speakeasy. Still, a guy can dream, can't he? Egg tarts...man, that would have been epic.
